Why we exist
Care begins by showing up.
Ray Mercy Ministry began with a truth Rachel Macharia could not ignore: no child should face hunger or hardship alone.
Twice each year, the team gathers children and families for shared meals and essential supplies. Home visits help the ministry understand what families need next—and where local partners can help.

October 2025 · Murang’a
One wheelchair changed a family’s daily life.
A father faced an impossible choice: go to work, or stay home with his seven-year-old daughter because she had no safe way to move independently.
Ray Mercy Ministry reached out to its network. Within a week, the family travelled to CDM Murang’a, where she received a wheelchair fitted for her.

Who leads the work
Meet Rachel.
Rachel Macharia founded Ray Mercy Ministry to make sure vulnerable children and families are not overlooked when life becomes difficult.
She leads the team’s gatherings and home visits, builds relationships with local partners and stays close to the families the ministry serves. Her approach is simple: listen carefully, respond practically and treat every person with dignity.
